How we work with you

Nearshore development from Uruguay, for the US and Europe.

From Montevideo (UTC-3) we share a full working day with the US East Coast and the whole morning with Western Europe. Engagements are short and fixed-scope, invoiced in your currency, and built on infrastructure you own — including EU-hosted, when your data requirements call for it.

The time zone maths, plainly

Montevideo is UTC-3: one to two hours ahead of New York depending on the season, three to four hours behind London, four to five behind Madrid. A client in Boston has our entire day. A client in Berlin has us until their afternoon. Compared with an offshore team on the other side of the world, a question does not cost a day to ask.

Why nearshore, not cheaper

Price is the usual reason people look south, and yes — our engagements land at a fraction of US or Western European rates. But the reason clients stay is narrower: short engagements, work reviewed weekly, and no team to keep fed between projects. If you want a body shop billing hours, there are better options than us.

Contracts, invoicing and IP

We contract directly, invoice in dollars or euros, and assign intellectual property to you in the agreement — the code is yours from the first commit, not on final payment. We are used to signing NDAs and to working inside a client's compliance requirements rather than around them.

Data protection for European clients

If you operate under GDPR, the constraints are part of the design: data minimisation from the first architecture sketch, EU-hosted infrastructure when you need it, a data-processing agreement, and a written record of where each piece of data lives. We build to the requirements your counsel sets; we do not ask you to relax them.

How it starts

A thirty-minute call in English or Spanish, a written scope within a couple of days, and a start date. No discovery phase you have to pay for before knowing what you are buying, and no proposal that takes three weeks to arrive.

Straight answers

Do you work in English?

Yes, natively in both English and Spanish. Calls, documentation, code comments and commit messages in whichever your team works in — mixed teams are the normal case for us, not an exception.

How do you handle contracts and payment from abroad?

Direct contract with the studio, invoiced in dollars or euros, with IP assigned to you in the agreement. If your procurement process needs a specific structure or paperwork, tell us early and we will work to it.

Can our data stay in the EU?

Yes. Infrastructure lives in your accounts and in the region you choose, so an EU-only deployment is a configuration decision rather than a negotiation. We will also tell you where any third-party model provider processes data, before it is part of the design.
